A etapa inicial imita o modelo de raide do Augur, com PV menor e um conjunto de movimentos reduzido: ele usa um ataque de onda espirrante e um golpe de avanço, e não possui os tentáculos atacáveis ou águas-vivas presentes em outras formas. Abater esse Augur inicial faz surgir uma arma lendária já aprimorada, vinculada ao Noctívago que desferiu o golpe final — a arma vem em **+3** e carrega a habilidade única Storm Ruler. Pouco depois de o Augur cair, o verdadeiro soberano Trevaeterna (o encontro fortalecido de Maris nos arquivos que combinam Augur com as mecânicas de Maris) desce e inicia a segunda fase, muito mais perigosa.\\n\\nStorm Ruler se torna o ponto central da estratégia da Fase 2. A habilidade dispara feixes horizontais com comandos rápidos e pode ser carregada para liberar uma onda vertical imensamente mais forte após uma carga completa (cerca de cinco segundos). Carregar restaura PF, mas reduz a velocidade de movimento e a recuperação de vigor; quando totalmente carregado, o jogador ganha uma aura azul persistente, e o próximo uso da habilidade desfere a onda vertical capaz de causar dano muito alto em um único golpe.
