Casting copper is a metallurgy recipe that converts molten metal into finished plates: it consumes 20 units of Molten copper and, when processed in a Foundry, produces 2 Copper plate over 3.2 seconds. As a Foundry-only metallurgy operation, Casting copper bridges smelting and plate production by taking liquid metal produced by melting processes and turning it into the standard Copper plate used by most recipes and constructions. Use Foundry throughput and Molten copper supply to scale output to match downstream Copper plate demand.
