Panic Flask

A gaseous bomb that induces nightmarish hallucinations, causing enemies to panic and attack each other.
Overview

The Flask’s defining attribute is psychological warfare rather than direct damage. It does not rely on lethality to weaken foes but instead converts hostile focus into internal conflict, interrupting coordinated attacks, breaking formations, and buying time for tactical repositioning or targeted strikes. Because the effect causes enemies to aggress against each other,
Practical usage and strategic notes:
- Use against clustered or closely packed enemy groups to maximize the chance that hallucinations cause multiple foes to engage each other. Disrupted formations amplify the Flask’s tactical value.
- Deploy before committing to a major offensive or when needing an immediate disruption to defensive lines; the induced panic can open gaps for flanking or extraction.
- Combine with area-denial or follow-up damage: while enemies are distracted, area-of-effect or targeted damage can finish or capitalize on enemy mistakes more safely.
- Favor use against enemy compositions that rely on coordination or concentrated fire; the Flask negates coordination by turning teammates into threats to one another.
- Be mindful of timing: releasing the gas at the wrong moment can waste its disruptive potential if enemies are already routed or separated.
- The
Panic Flask is a non-lethal control option intended to change the battlefield tempo rather than substitute for direct damage-dealing tools.
