Their notable function is tied to the set bonus: the melee damage increase only activates after the wearer has gone 5 seconds without taking damage. This makes the bonus best suited to cautious, avoidance-focused play, where keeping distance from enemies or minimizing hits allows the damage boost to stay active.

Because the effect depends on remaining unharmed, taking damage resets the timer and delays the bonus from reactivating.
