Radiation Crystal

The Radiation Crystal is a furniture item found naturally in the Shimmering Frontier. It emits a hazardous radioactive field that deals 80 radioactive damage to players and most creatures within a 5-tile radius, making it dangerous to approach without protection or distance.

Radiation Crystals cannot be broken by explosives, including bombs and the Bomb Scarab Mortar. To remove one, at least a mining damage source is required. Certain magic projectiles can also damage them directly: the Fireball Staff can break one in 5 normal hits or 4 secondary hits, and the Noxious Meteor Staff can break one in 5 attacks. Because they are naturally placed environmental hazards rather than ordinary loot objects, they are best dealt with from range or bypassed entirely when exploring the Shimmering Frontier.
