Woof Cabin

Woof Cabin is a housing-related item used as part of an NPC room setup. Like other furniture that determines whether an area counts as a valid home, it is only useful when the surrounding room also meets the game’s housing requirements.

A room that accepts an NPC must meet several conditions: it has to be smaller than 8 x 8, contain an unused Bed, and include the object required by that specific NPC. Once all requirements are satisfied, the NPC moves in automatically within about a minute. If you prepare enough Beds and valid rooms for multiple residents, several NPCs can live in the same room.

For NPCs that can be summoned by housing, the room does not have to remain intact after they arrive. If the house is later destroyed, the NPC does not vanish; it simply wanders around the area. If the NPC dies, it can be summoned again as long as the housing requirements are still met.

• NPCs can be interacted with to buy and sell items.
• Merchant stock is limited and replenishes over time.
• NPCs normally roam around their spawn area when not assigned a proper home.
• They can be attacked with weapons, but doing so does not grant skill experience.
