Ascended Shard

Ascended Shard is a crafting material used to upgrade Weapons and Tools at the Upgrade Station. It is also used to craft the Tier 10 Ascended Incursion Tablet at the Fallen Workstation, making it an important late-game progression item tied to high-tier Incursions.

Ascended Shards can drop from any boss in Tier 8 or higher Incursions, but they are gated behind the Tier 10 perk The Beginning of The End. This makes them a resource associated with the upper end of the Incursion progression chain rather than a general-purpose material.
