Beet

Beet is a raw food item that can be found by defeating the Cave Croppler in Caves. It can also be obtained by planting Beet Seeds in Farmland, making it both a drop and a crop result.

Beets can be eaten directly or used as an ingredient in Cooking. When consumed by the player, it grants +10% Mining Speed for 4 minutes. When eaten by NPCs, it provides +10 Happiness. Its spoilage time is 8 hours, so it is one of the more perishable food items and is best used or stored carefully.
