Essence of Prolonging

Essence of Prolonging is a trinket found in Plains Cave chests. It is a simple utility accessory rather than a direct weapon or tool, and its main effect is to make Gem Staves more effective.

Because it only affects Gem Staves, it is most useful for characters who rely on that weapon class for ranged magical damage. Outside of that playstyle, it has no notable combat role, so its value depends heavily on whether the player is building around Gem Staves early in progression.
