Overview

Facility 32 M is a large mountainous sector centered on a ruined facility. The terrain is dominated by mountainous ground and rock with patches of water along the lower edges. Scattered across the map are small and medium veins of coal, copper, lead, and titanium in inconvenient locations. Two derelict facility structures occupy the map: a large ruined complex surrounding the core landing area and a smaller ruin in the southwest.

The player Core lands in the center-right room of the larger derelict facility. That core room contains two conveyors (one adjacent to a container), a blast mixer and a pyratite mixer mining setup, a crusher, and a container on the right. The rooms adjacent to the core include multiple Hail turrets and additional mixers: the room north of the core has a Hail, five containers, and two Blast Mixers; the room south of the core has another Hail and two Pyratite Mixers; the room directly west of the core contains another Hail and two more Blast Mixers. A narrow passage west from the room south of the core leads to an area with five containers and two conveyors. The smaller derelict ruin in the southwest contains five containers. Two enemy drop zones sit in the north, each spawning waves of attackers aimed at destroying the core.

Enemies on this sector include flame units like Mace that fire incendiary projectiles, units that fire piercing beams (Quasar) that pass through most blocks, and various other attackers such as Scorchers, Healers, and crafters that target structures. Waves arrive from two spawn points; some enemies spawn every two waves and later waves bring larger and more specialized attackers. Players receive roughly one minute and forty seconds between waves.

  • Deconstruct much of the ruined facility after landing to make room for your own factories and conveyor layouts; this also reveals additional coal and titanium tiles that are useful early on. The two veins of pyratite southeast of the core sit near a pool of water and can be used for blast and pyratite production, and to boost drills with water. Use those veins for pyratite, silicon, or graphite production as needed.
  • Research and deploy scatter shields (shield blocks) to stop piercing beams from Quasar units; those beams can cut through defenses and destroy fragile turrets and conveyors. Building walls alone will not stop the beams.
  • Use faster miners (e.g., Laser Drills) when available, and boost drills with adjacent water where possible. For power, solar arrays are the easiest to set up quickly, though coal-based power can also be used.
  • Ore is sparse near the core; plan to transport ore from nearby small patches or from larger veins in the southwest. Reserve the largest titanium veins for higher-tier production.
  • Early defense can rely on 1x1 turrets behind walls to handle initial waves, but upgrade to larger turrets (such as salvo-type and ripple-type) by wave 7 when enemy numbers increase. Use heated or explosive ammo for ripples and salvos when appropriate. Priority-target incendiary and flame units from range, and place multiple point-defense turrets to handle fast crafters and bombers.
  • Beware that certain enemy units will try to target explosive storage or critical crafters, which can cause massive fires or chain damage if destroyed. Place flamethrower extinguishers or repair structures to mitigate fire, and use dedicated anti-air or anti-fast-unit turrets against crafters and shielded attackers.
