Item Stand (Wall)

Overview

The stand's primary function is purely decorative: it holds and visually presents one equippable or holdable object so that the item model is visible on the wall. When an object is placed on the stand, the object's appearance becomes a persistent decoration in the room or base, and the stand preserves the placed item visually until removed. Placement is limited to walls; floor placement is not supported.
Practical notes on use, placement, and interactions:
- Crafting:
Item Stand (Wall) can only be obtained by crafting. Check the crafting station and required recipe list in the game's crafting UI to see required materials and any station prerequisites.
- Mounting: Install the stand on any valid wall surface; it requires an unobstructed wall tile. The game enforces collision rules, so walls with overhangs or other wall-mounted objects may block placement.
- Display compatibility: The stand displays one item model. Not all objects may have display-compatible models; typical compatible items are weapons, tools, and small artifacts. If an item cannot be displayed, the stand will reject placement or the item will not render correctly.
- Persistence and removal: A placed item remains visible on the stand until manually removed. Removing the stand usually returns the stand object and the placed item to your inventory if removal is performed through the standard dismantle or pickup action; ensure you have inventory space when removing.
- Decorative design: Use multiple stands to create themed displays or collections along hallways and inside rooms. Wall-mounted stands save floor space compared to floor stands.
- Orientation and aesthetics: The stand faces outward from the wall; orientation is determined at placement. Consider wall height and surrounding decorations to ensure the displayed item is visible from typical camera angles.
- Interactions with gameplay systems: The
Item Stand (Wall) is a decorative object and does not modify item stats or player abilities. It does not function as storage or as an equip station.
