Nuke-Vac

Overview

In play,
Practical usage and tactics:
- Positioning matters: place or activate
Nuke-Vac where enemy groups or projectile streams converge to maximize the number of targets pulled in and returned. It is most effective at chokepoints or just ahead of the player to intercept threats before they reach you.
- Crowd control and cleanup: use the vortex to clear smaller enemies en masse, reducing pressure and creating breathing room during hectic encounters. Its ability to handle small foes makes it a consistent choice for managing swarms.
- Projectile reflection: take advantage of its catch-and-return behavior to neutralize heavy projectiles by pulling them in and sending them back. This can turn enemy firepower into offensive options.
- Deal with nonphysical threats: because
Nuke-Vac can affect metaphysical projectiles, it serves uniquely against attacks that other vacuum or deflection tools cannot interact with. Prioritize it in encounters featuring ethereal or otherwise unconventional projectiles.
- Timing and risk: when using the pump to return heavy shots, be mindful of trajectories after release. Returned projectiles can hit other enemies or the environment, but improper timing may also cause collateral hazards. Coordinate returns with movement or other attacks to safely capitalize on redirected fire.
- Synergy: pair
Nuke-Vac with attacks or companions that benefit from clustered or redirected targets. Returning projectiles into groups or hazards can amplify damage without additional resource use.
