Ramrod

A powerful electrical mace with an extended capacitor bank for heavier shocks.
Overview

On a successful hit
Practical notes and interactions:
- The weapon relies on stored charge in its capacitor bank; managing charge sources or recharging items is necessary to maintain its full effect.
- Area damage from the discharge makes
Ramrod valuable for crowd control and clearing clustered enemies or interrupting groups that hide behind cover.
- Because strikes that hit scenery still trigger the discharge, players can intentionally aim at nearby surfaces to hit enemies taking cover without needing a direct blow.
- With zero charge the mace still deals physical melee damage like any blunt weapon but lacks the secondary electrical effect.
- Treat
Ramrod as a hybrid tool: it functions both as a heavy blunt weapon and as a short-range electric emitter, so build and tactics that prioritize close combat and charge management enhance its effectiveness.
