Crowbar

Crowbar is a common utility item found throughout the game, especially by breaking Manufacturing Wood Crates and Mine Crates. It also appears in a number of fixed locations, making it a dependable early- to mid-game tool to pick up while exploring new sectors.

Notable places where Crowbar can be obtained in useful quantities include the Office Sector on Level 2 in an area near the Data Farms that requires an Hackerman (Tier 2) to access, several spots in Manufacturing West, the train car with various wooden crates in The Train, the area beside the Cloud Reactor tram stop in Reactors, and throughout Shadowgate after the first forcefields. It can also be traded for Anomaly with The Blacksmith.

• Manufacturing West locations include:
  • Inside and outside the Supply Room
  • After taking the elevator down from the Control Tower, in the area with lots of radioactive waste and containers
  • In the mines area near the green pipe, where one Optic Lens is needed
  • In the area with The Synchrotron
  • Inside Shipping
• In Reactors, one Crowbar can be found next to the Cloud Reactor tram stop, on the other side and on a lower level in a maintenance hut, close to a Cacophonous Crate.
• In Shadowgate, Crowbar can be found past the first forcefields and throughout the area.

Because Crowbar appears in crate loot as well as in several hand-placed locations, it is worth checking any storage containers and side rooms you pass through rather than relying only on major objective paths. The item is especially easy to stock up on when revisiting industrial zones such as Manufacturing West, where multiple nearby spawn points can be cleared in a single route.
