Sweet Porridge

Sweet Porridge is a consumable item found throughout the game world. Its in-game description frames it as an exaggerated, boundary-pushing take on porridge: "Pushing the bounds of porridge." It appears in many standard loot containers and is sometimes produced through crafting, making it a common but flavorful pantry option for scavenging runs.

Sweet Porridge commonly appears inside and as loot from wooden crates and storage containers. It can be randomly obtained by breaking Office Wood Crates, Manufacturing Wood Crates, Security Wood Crates, Defense Wood Crates, and Reactors Wood Crates. It also frequently spawns inside Toolboxes and lockers. Crafting Glue (Soup) yields multiple Sweet Porridge items, and many more can be found by looting or breaking wooden crates across levels.

Typical spawn locations include multiple sectors and floors:

• Office Sector: level 2 areas such as the gym, locker room and pool area, hallways, the Data Farms, Security Office, and a room near the Data Farms that requires a Keypad ACH_HACKERMAN (Tier 2) to access.
• Manufacturing West: inside and outside the Supply Room; the lower elevator area near radioactive waste and containers; the mines area near the green pipe (an Optic Lens is required to reach one spot); the area around The Synchrotron; and inside Shipping.
• Cascade Laboratories: level 2 Wildlife Pens and level 3 locations including lockers and file cabinets in the Adjustment area (upstairs) and file cabinets in the Control Center area near a small kitchen and a refrigerator.

Sweet Porridge serves primarily as a looted consumable rather than a key crafting component, though it is produced in quantity when making Glue (Soup). Its presence in many common containers makes it a reliable item to expect when searching offices, manufacturing zones, labs, and associated storage rooms.

Practical notes and behavior:

• The item includes a lingering use animation from earlier builds: Sweet Porridge previously healed cuts in the same way Bandages did, and while that effect was removed, the use animation still plays when the item is activated from the hotbar.
• Access to some Sweet Porridge spawns requires specific tools or progress: certain rooms require Keypad ACH_HACKERMAN (Tier 2) access or an Optic Lens to reach mine-area caches.
• Prioritize checking lockers, toolboxes, and wooden crates in the listed areas for the highest likelihood of finding multiple units during runs.
