Sweet Porridge

Sweet Porridge is a consumable food item found throughout Abiotic Factor. It can be obtained randomly from Office Wood Crates, Manufacturing Wood Crates, Security Wood Crates, Defense Wood Crates, and Reactors Wood Crates, and it also appears frequently in toolboxes and lockers. In addition to general loot sources, it spawns in several fixed locations across the game’s sectors, making it a reliable early-to-midgame scavenging find rather than a rare specialty item.

In the Office Sector, Sweet Porridge appears at Level 2 in the gym, locker room, and pool area, in the hallway, in the Data Farms, in the Security Office, and in a nearby area that requires a Tier 2 Keypad Hacker to access. In Cascade Laboratories, it is found at Level 2 in the Wildlife Pens, and at Level 3 in the Adjustment area upstairs, both in lockers and in some file cabinets in a small office space. It also appears in the Control Center area upstairs, inside some file cabinets in a section with a small kitchen and a refrigerator. In Manufacturing West, it can be found inside and outside the Supply Room, in the area below the Control Tower with radioactive waste and containers, in the mines area near the green pipe where an Optic Lens is needed, in the area with The Synchrotron, and inside Shipping.

A small number of Sweet Porridge can also be crafted indirectly by making Glue (Soup), which yields four. Because it is spread across common crate types and interior storage containers, it is often worth checking every toolbox, locker, and wooden crate during routine looting runs. The item is especially convenient in areas where you are already searching for other supplies, since it tends to show up alongside general-purpose resources rather than in isolated quest locations.

• Sweet Porridge was previously able to heal cuts like Bandages in earlier builds, but that function was removed.
• Even after the healing effect was removed, the use animation still plays when the item is used from the hotbar.
• Since 1.0, that animation remains in the game.
