Shipment

Brings in fresh cookies from the cookie planet.
Overview
Shipment is the fourth most expensive building in Cookie Clicker Classic. It represents a fleet of interstellar deliveries that “brings in fresh cookies from the cookie planet,” and in the Classic version it increases production by 100 cookies every 5 seconds, or 20 cookies per second. Its base cost is 7,000 cookies, and each additional purchase raises the price by 10%.
Buying the first Shipment also improves
Shipment is notable mostly for being a strong early-midgame income boost in Classic and for its lore implications. The description suggests that cookies are transported from another world, which implies a setting where the cookie planet and even the local planet itself are made of cookies. That idea is reinforced elsewhere in the game’s flavor text.
- Base production: 100 cookies / 5 seconds
- Equivalent production: 20 cookies / second
- Base price: 7,000 cookies
- Price scaling: +10% per purchase
- Extra effect on first buy: Grandma output +3 cookies / 5 seconds
- Visual effect on first buy: some grandmas become alien grandmas
Because Shipment is tied to Cookie Clicker Classic, it should be understood in that context rather than as a standard building in later versions. In Classic, it serves as both a major production upgrade and one of the game’s more memorable thematic elements, combining a direct CpS increase with a permanent change to grandma production.
