Settings: Display, Editing & Privacy Guide
Settings control how you view and interact with this wiki and its pages. Use them to switch display modes, edit content, and manage comment access and privacy/ad preferences.
Editing
- Pages can be edited from the top of the screen or via each page’s heading. Use the page edit controls to make changes.
- Before editing, read and follow the site’s edit guidelines. The edit guidelines define formatting, content rules, and acceptable behavior.
Display modes
- A Dark Mode / Light Mode toggle is available at the top of the screen.
- Dark Mode is automatic; in some color combinations it may reduce readability. If text or page elements are hard to read, switch to Light Mode.
Comments
- Pages that permit comments display a comment area. Click the comment icon at the lower-right to jump to the comment field.
- If a page has no comments enabled, the comment icon will scroll to the page bottom instead.
Privacy, advertising and premium
- Two broad browsing options are provided:
- Ad-supported: personalized ads, video spots and tracking are enabled. You can inspect which processing purposes and partners are used in the privacy/consent options.
- Ad-free (GameStar Plus / premium): for a monthly fee, content is shown without banners, video ads and tracking. Privacy processing purposes and partners for the ad-free option are listed in the privacy options.
- Links to the site’s full privacy policy and data-processing details are provided in the privacy/options area.
Where to find these controls
- Display mode toggle and page edit buttons are at the top of the site interface.
- Comment access is controlled per-page; use the on-page comment icon to access comments.
- Privacy and advertising preferences are available through the privacy/options links or account/plus sign-up flow.
