Overview

Shrouded Roundtable Hold is the central hub location for Nightreign’s Nightfarers. It functions as the organization’s headquarters and the place where players prepare, manage, and launch expeditions into Limveld from the Table of Lost Grace at the hold’s central table. The Hold is a compact multi-room complex with distinct functional areas: a central round table for expedition selection, an altar for Relic Rites, a bell to change the active Nightfarer, and multiple connected wings that host NPC services, training areas, storage, and progression devices.

The main chamber contains the central table where expeditions are initiated, the Relic Rites altar on the west side for performing Relic-related actions, and a bell on the east side used to swap which Nightfarer the player controls. Four doorways lead out of the hall. The northern doorway opens into a ruined throne room with broken walls on the north and east; the northern cliff outside that room is the boarding point for Spirit Hawks that ferry Nightfarers into Limveld. The southern doorway exits onto a balcony and a drop to the entrance hall below, where victor records from other players are displayed; viewing a glowing victor record that used the player’s scavenged equipment grants 1000 Murk.

The southwest passage leads to the study. The study houses the Visual Codex, which contains tutorials, tips, equipment details, and a record of the last 100 expeditions, and the Small Jar Bazaar at the far end for trading items in exchange for Murk. A staircase beside the Bazaar descends toward the main entrance hall and continues further into a locked underground area that only becomes accessible when a Remembrance Quest requires it. If The Forsaken Hollows content is active, the Small Jar Bazaar shifts to reveal a chapel with a balcony exit on the west side of the Hold. Beyond the study lie a ruined dining hall and the garden, where the Executor’s painting easel stands.

The east wing contains the Journal used to advance Remembrance Quests once enough memory fragments are collected. A small bedroom to the south of the east hall functions as a rest point that cancels active Shifting Earth events. Further east is the storage room; after defeating at least two different Nightlords and unlocking Garbs, this storage area is cleared and converted into a dresser that allows changing a Nightfarer’s appearance using unlocked Garbs. The northeast corner opens into the Sparring Grounds, which are reachable either from the northern throne room or the dresser room. The Sparring Grounds provide a Sparring Equipment chest and signboard where players can freely change gear and levels to test builds and Relic effects.

Several NPCs and interactive services inhabit the Hold: the Priestess, the Small Jar Bazaar merchant, Iron Menial, and the Collector Signboard. Other Nightfarers who are not currently selected to play appear as NPCs within the Hold. The Collector Signboard appears outside on the shore only after the player has defeated an Everdark Sovereign and accepts Sovereign Sigils in exchange for its services.

Practical notes and tips:

  • Use the central table to choose and launch expeditions; change your active character at the bell before departing if you want a different Nightfarer loadout.
  • Perform Relic Rites at the west altar to activate or modify Relic effects before missions.
  • Visit the Visual Codex in the study to review tutorials and detailed equipment information, and to inspect the last 100 expedition records for performance insights.
  • Trade Murk at the Small Jar Bazaar for supplies; the Bazaar can move to reveal a chapel when The Forsaken Hollows is active.
  • Convert the storage room into the dresser only after obtaining Garbs by defeating Nightlords; the dresser permits appearance customization without affecting equipment.
  • Use the Sparring Grounds to freely change equipment and levels and to test Relic synergies safely before attempting risky expeditions.
  • Resting in the bedroom off the east hall cancels Shifting Earth events if those mechanics are active.
  • Check victor records in the entrance hall for potential Murk rewards and to study successful builds; a record that used your equipment grants 1000 Murk when viewed.
  • The Hold’s soundtrack includes a motif borrowed from classic Souls music, tying the area’s ambiance to a familiar melodic theme.
