Bloodstained Dagger

Overview

The weapon's base attack profile favors dexterity builds. Its raw attack values are Physical 66 and Critical 110, with no elemental damage (Magic/Fire/Lightning/Holy all 0). Guarded damage negation is Physical 100, and 21 against Magic, Fire, Lightning, and Holy. Attribute scaling grants an E in Strength and an S in Dexterity, with no scaling for Intelligence, Faith, or Arcane.

Practical notes and usage
- Best used by characters investing heavily in Dexterity to take advantage of the S scaling; Strength only minimally contributes due to E scaling.
Quickstep enables aggressive hit-and-run play; use it to reposition after landing bleed stacks or to chase weakened foes before the
Hemorrhage proc.
- High Critical (110) makes the dagger a solid tool for backstabs and ripostes; capitalize on guard breaks and parries to convert openings into lethal criticals.
- Guarded damage negation being weighted to Physical means the dagger performs acceptably when blocked, but its value lies in avoiding sustained trades rather than tanking hits.
- Combine with bleed-augmenting talismans, consumables, or skills that increase attack speed or hemorrhage build rate to maximize effectiveness.
- Pairing with light armor and mobility enhancements complements the dagger’s playstyle, emphasizing quick strikes, spacing, and retreat rather than extended frontal brawls.
