Canvas is a decorative block that allows players to create and display small pixel art inside the game world. It appears as a 12×12 editable grid and is intended for cosmetic customization rather than functional gameplay mechanics. Canvas was introduced in the 7.0 update and is listed among Erekir-exclusive miscellaneous blocks.

Interacting with a placed Canvas opens an editor: a pencil icon appears when the block is clicked (similar to the Logic Processor), and selecting it brings up the 12×12 grid of dark squares. There are eight available colors; selecting a color and then clicking individual tiles replaces that tile’s color. After editing, use the save button to commit changes to the block or cancel to discard edits. Multiple Canvases placed adjacent with perfectly aligned sides will visually join by removing the border between them, allowing players to create larger continuous images.

The eight palette colors (expressed as hex codes) are: #362944, #c45d9f, #e39aac, #f0dab1, #6461c2, #2ba9b4, #93d4b5, and #f0f6e8.

Practical notes and tips:

• Because each Canvas stores its own 12×12 image, plan larger murals by placing multiple Canvases in a strict grid so their borders vanish and the image reads seamlessly.
• Edits are local to each Canvas; there is no built-in copy/paste between canvases, so reproducing complex patterns across many blocks may require manual effort.
• Canvas is purely decorative and does not interact with power, items, or logic systems.
• The block’s silicon cost was reduced from 30 to 10 in a 7.0 build following its introduction, making it cheaper to place for large artworks.
