Canvas

Overview
Canvas is a decorative placeable block that lets players create and display custom 12×12 pixel images in-game. It is an
Erekir-exclusive miscellaneous block introduced in version 7.0. Multiple
Canvas blocks can be placed adjacent to one another; when their edges perfectly align the border between them disappears so multiple canvases form a single seamless larger image.
Interacting with a placed
Canvas opens a small editor: a pencil icon appears (similar to the
Logic Processor UI), and clicking it brings up a 12×12 grid of tiles and a palette of eight selectable colors. Clicking a tile paints it with the currently chosen color. The eight palette colors are specified by these hex codes: #362944, #c45d9f, #e39aac, #f0dab1, #6461c2, #2ba9b4, #93d4b5, and #f0f6e8. After editing, use "save" to apply the image to the
Canvas or "cancel" to discard changes.
Canvases cost silicon to build; the silicon cost was reduced from 30 to 10 in a later build of version 7.0. The block is intended purely for aesthetics and player-created signage or pixel art rather than functional gameplay mechanics. Practical notes:
- Align canvases precisely to tile grid positions to create seamless, larger murals.
- Design artwork with the 12×12 resolution and eight-color palette; complex images require tiling multiple canvases.
- Save frequently while composing larger connected images to avoid losing progress when editing individual canvases.
