Forest Spector

The Forest Spector is a monster found in the Deep Plains Caves. Its main threat is the Spirit Haunted debuff, which slows the player down and can stack up to 10 times. Reaching 10 stacks upgrades the effect into Spirit Possessed, a stronger debuff that drains health.

Because of this, fighting Forest Spectors is less about raw damage and more about avoiding prolonged exposure. Letting the debuff stack can quickly turn a manageable encounter into a dangerous one, especially in cramped cave fights where escaping becomes difficult.
