Fallen Altar

The Fallen Altar is an endgame object used to unlock Incursions. It can only be crafted after obtaining the Gateway Tablet, making it part of the later progression toward that system.

When placed, the Gateway Tablet is inserted into the Fallen Altar to open the Incursions menu at any time. From there, Incursion perks can be unlocked in the Incursion Perk Tree by spending Altar Dust. Perks unlocked in one Fallen Altar only apply to the Incursion tied to that altar; they do not carry over to other altars.

Destroying a Fallen Altar does not reset its perk tree. If it is placed again later, it retains the same perk progress it had before.
