Bed

A personal bed for a ratizen to rest. Can lay an emergency patient on it too.
Overview
The Bed is a basic housing building used to provide a place for A_Ratizens to sleep. Compared with sleeping outdoors, it reduces sleep time by half, making it an important early settlement structure for keeping your population housed efficiently.
A Bed does not directly affect A_Ratizen happiness aside from removing the penalties associated with being unhoused. Because of that, it is mainly a functional necessity rather than a morale booster. When placing one during construction, using auto-assignment can make it easier to assign the Bed to the intended resident right away.
- Provides housing for A_Ratizens
- Cuts sleep time to half of the outdoors value
- Does not directly raise happiness beyond removing the negative effects of lacking proper housing
- Auto-assignment is useful when building it, especially in the early game
