Flamone

Flamone is a creature found in the volcano biome. It is one of the wildlife species tied to that environment and can be encountered there rather than in more ordinary surface areas.

When defeated, Flamone can be turned into an item and used as one of the ingredients for the Thermal Generator. Because of that, it is more than just a hostile or passive creature to deal with in the field: it also has a direct crafting purpose. If you want to make use of it efficiently, the main thing to remember is that Flamone’s value comes from collecting it for thermal power production rather than leaving it unused after hunting.
