Overview

Dynamite is a late-game crafting building that produces explosives used for clearing obstacles and speeding certain demolition tasks. It is part of a multi-step production chain that begins with basic plant materials and wood and culminates in the explosive product. The dynamite building requires unlocked intermediate facilities and electrical power to operate.

Dynamite sits near the end of its production chain: the chain requires planting and harvesting raw plants, chopping wood, and processing raw materials through several intermediate buildings before dynamite can be manufactured. One intermediate step unlocks the remaining buildings in the chain, and all buildings after that step require power. The dynamite facility consumes refined inputs in batches (sources list consumptions such as 50, 120, 80, and 150 units at various stages of the chain) and takes processed goods from the preceding processor to create dynamite as its final product.

Practical usage and notes:

  • Place dynamite near power and logistic flow for the upstream processors that supply its inputs; many preceding buildings require electricity, so power infrastructure must be established first.
  • Prioritize unlocking the intermediate building that gates the rest of the chain to access dynamite production at all.
  • Manage raw-material throughput: plant production and wood chopping must be scaled to meet the significant input demands of the chain’s processing stages.
  • Use dynamite strategically for clearing large obstacles or accelerating demolition tasks; because it is a late-game product, produce it only as needed to avoid tying up complex production capacity.
  • Monitor the chain’s bottlenecks (power, wood, and specific processors) and expand those before increasing dynamite production to keep the facility supplied.
