Overview

The Beaver Statue is a decorative building placed in settlements to increase beaver happiness and contribute to overall aesthetic value. It is a non-functional ornament that requires placement on solid ground and can be included in plaza and monument areas to boost morale and embellish built environments.

The statue belongs to the game's decorative construction chain and has received visual and cost adjustments across updates. It was introduced at Early Access launch. In Update 2 the Beaver Statue gained the ability to fit under a Double Platform, allowing tighter city layouts and multi-layered plazas. Subsequent updates in the Iron Teeth expansion altered its appearance to make it stand out more against the Beaver Bust and lowered the Metal Block cost from 30 to 20 Metal Blocks.

Practical notes for placement and use:

  • Place the statue where many beavers will pass or gather (near workplaces, plazas, or food buildings) to maximize its happiness benefit.
  • Use the Double Platform compatibility to stack decorative pieces and save surface area when space is limited.
  • The reduced Metal Block cost in Iron Teeth makes the statue more accessible in mid-to-late game when metal production is established.
  • Because it is strictly decorative, allocate resources only after functional needs (housing, food, water, power) are secured.

Visual presentation:

  • The statue appears in dedicated decorative displays and can be shown in screenshots or gallery areas as a focal monument for settlements.
