Medical Bed

The Medical Bed is a well-being building that provides a place for Beavers to recover from injuries and illnesses. It is a dedicated indoor furniture piece placed inside a building; Beavers assigned to or using the bed will receive medical treatment and rest rather than attempting to work or wander while hurt. The Medical Bed was introduced in Update 2 and is categorized under Well-Being Buildings.

Medical Beds are placed on a floor inside any suitable structure and require no special machinery to operate. They occupy a single tile and present a visible bed model when constructed; screenshots show Medical Beds both "in use" with a Beaver resting on them and presented alone in a dedicated room. The bed does not itself produce resources but functions as part of a medical care workflow: providing a reliable recovery location reduces the time injured Beavers remain incapacitated and helps maintain overall settlement health.

• Construct Medical Beds inside enclosed rooms to protect patients from weather and to keep them near other facilities such as food storage or water sources.
• Place beds close to work areas with higher risk of injury or near commonly trafficked routes to minimize travel time for injured Beavers.
• Multiple beds can be built to handle larger populations and simultaneous injuries; ensure pathing allows access for Beavers needing care.
• Use Medical Beds in combination with other well-being buildings and resources to maintain a healthy, productive population.
