Grinder

Overview
A compact launcher that propels grinder discs at high velocity. The

Practical use and interactions:
- Accuracy training: The
Grinder’s very high fire rate makes it an effective method for improving the Accuracy skill through repeated hits.
- Close-quarters caution: Avoid firing indiscriminately in tight corridors or rooms because bouncing discs are likely to ricochet back and strike the user or allies.
- Recovery and resource economy: Check corpses and nearby surfaces after engagements; a portion of fired
Grinder Discs can be recovered and reused, reducing long-term resource costs.
- Targeting and environmental play: Use ricochets deliberately to hit enemies around cover or to clear clustered foes, but plan angles carefully to prevent self-damage.
- Reload visuals: The
Grinder has distinct reloading animations that change with reload level (examples shown for Levels 0–9 and Level 20), which can help you time follow-up shots or understand weapon readiness in combat footage or replays.
- Damage profile: Bouncing discs remain dangerous until they break; treat each ricochet as a potential damaging projectile and maintain situational awareness after firing.
