Lodestone Shield

Lodestone Shield is a shield that provides both defensive protection and thermal side effects when equipped. Like the Heater and Heater Shield, it raises the ambient temperature shown on the thermometer by one level while held, turning Hypothermic into Cold. When it is unholstered, it also increases the player character’s body temperature.

Its main combat trait is that it can punish melee attackers with fire. While blocking, melee attacks from enemies have a chance to deal fire damage back to them, and attackers may also be ignited when they hit the shield.
