Heater Shield

Heater Shield is an equippable item that raises the player character’s body temperature while it is unholstered. Like a regular Heater, it also increases the surrounding temperature by one level on the thermometer while equipped, turning Hypothermic into Cold.

In combat, the shield adds a small offensive deterrent as well: melee attackers may be ignited when they hit the player. This makes it useful in cold environments where maintaining warmth matters, while also giving some protection against close-range enemies.
