Zip Shield

Zip Shield is a trinket that projects a Hardlight Shield while equipped, providing a layer of protection against physical attacks. The shield has 200 health and begins with 0 shield health when first equipped, so it must recharge before it can absorb damage.

Its regeneration is one of its defining strengths: the shield restores 30 shield health per second after a 4-second delay when damaged, and after a 9-second delay when fully depleted. When the Zip Shield is equipped, that full-depletion recharge delay also applies at startup, so it does not provide immediate protection. Equipped armor values do not affect how much damage the shield can absorb.
