Bootstrapping

Bootstrapping is the tutorial completion milestone in Astroneer. It is earned by finishing the game's introductory tutorial sequence, and it serves as the first major progression step for new saves. In the achievement list, it corresponds to the task of completing the tutorial, alongside the game’s other exploration, crafting, and multiplayer milestones.

Like several other achievements, Bootstrapping can contribute to unlocking customization options for the player, including suits, palettes, visors, and emotes. It is part of the base Astroneer achievement set and is separate from later addition content; achievements added in the Wandering update do not count toward EXO Dynamics Solar System Mastery.
