Hive Mother Scanner

The Hive Mother Scanner is a consumable scanner that reveals the location of the Hive Mother on the map when used. After activation, it is consumed, and the marked location remains visible until the Hive Mother is defeated.

Because it directly points to one of the game's bosses, the Hive Mother Scanner is mainly used as a progression item for locating the fight rather than as a reusable tool. Once the boss is defeated, the map marker disappears, so there is no need to keep the scanner after use.
