Advanced Sprinkler

The Advanced Sprinkler is a passive farming tool that can be crafted at the Crafting Table after obtaining Irrigation Licence Level 2 from Fletch. It is used to automate crop watering and is part of the game’s irrigation setup rather than a hand-held tool. Because it is a placeable farm item, players can arrange it in whatever layout best fits their plots, whether for efficiency or appearance.

When placed, the Advanced Sprinkler waters a 5×5 area centered on itself, covering 24 tiles around the sprinkler. It requires a Water Tank to operate, so it is not a standalone solution and must be set up as part of a connected watering system. It can also water grass tiles, allowing grass tufts to grow. The sprinkler only works during the first two hours of the morning, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, so farms should be arranged with that timing in mind.

A few practical points make it easier to use:

• Place the sprinkler so its 5×5 coverage overlaps the crops you want watered each morning.
• Since it only functions early in the day, it is best suited for routine farm layouts rather than on-demand watering.
• Use it with a Water Tank nearby to keep the system running.
• It is useful not only for crops but also for encouraging grass tuft growth on grass tiles.
• The farm layout can be organized however you want; visual spacing matters as much as coverage when building larger fields.

As a farming automation item, the Advanced Sprinkler is most valuable when expanding beyond small plots. It reduces the need to water tiles manually and makes it easier to maintain larger, organized fields once irrigation has been unlocked.
