Pine Double Bed

Pine Double Bed is a furniture item used to decorate rooms and function as a bed. It is crafted at a Carpenters Bench and belongs to the bed category, so it shares the standard bed mechanics used throughout the game.

Like other beds, it sets your spawn point, provides healing while sleeping, and can fast-forward time by 20 times the normal rate. In a multiplayer game, time only fast-forwards if all players are in a bed, so one player staying awake will prevent the skip. If the bed used as your spawn point is destroyed, your spawn point reverts to near the elder's house.

A bed only functions as a valid spawn point in a room up to 500 tiles in size. If the room exceeds that limit, the game will reject the placement with a message indicating that the spawn cannot be set outside the allowed area. This makes room size an important consideration when building larger houses or shared sleeping areas.

Because it is a double bed, it is a practical choice for player bases where multiple characters may sleep nearby or where a larger bed fits the room's layout better than a single bed. It also serves the decorative role expected of bedroom furniture, helping complete a room while still providing all of the normal bed benefits.
