Willow Bed

Willow Bed is a furniture item used to decorate rooms and to function as a bed for the player. It can be crafted at a Carpenters Bench.

Like other beds in Necesse, a Willow Bed can be used to set a spawn point, provide healing while sleeping, and fast-forward time by 20 times. This makes it both a decorative object and an important survival utility, especially when establishing a base or a safe respawn location.

A few practical points apply to all beds, including the Willow Bed:

• In multiplayer, all players must be in a bed for time to fast-forward.
• If the bed used for your spawn point is destroyed, your spawn point reverts to a location near the Elder's house.
• A bed only functions if the room around it is not too large; the maximum room size is 500 tiles.
• If the room exceeds that limit, the game displays the message “Cannot Set Spawn Outside”.

Because of these mechanics, the Willow Bed is most useful when placed inside a properly sized, enclosed room that you intend to use as a home or temporary base. It is especially valuable early on once you have access to the Carpenters Bench, since it lets you establish a reliable respawn point while also serving as room furniture.
