Controls Guide: Shift+F11 & Shift+F12 Hotkeys

TBH's controls focus on a compact set of hotkeys for emergency window and display recovery plus general display troubleshooting — essential for multi-monitor and high-DPI setups.

Emergency hotkeys

• Shift + F11 — Reset display scale. Use this when the game UI is too large, too small, or otherwise scaled incorrectly after changing monitor DPI or resolution.
• Shift + F12 — Reset window position. Use this when the TBH window has moved off-screen, become tiny, or otherwise lost its visible placement.

Tip: If the game window vanished after moving between monitors, press Shift + F12 first to restore the window position, then Shift + F11 to correct scale.

Multi-monitor and DPI tips

• Different monitors with different DPI settings commonly cause UI inflation or improper scaling. Reset the display scale (Shift + F11) before dragging the window between monitors to avoid scaling issues.
• If you move the window and it disappears or becomes unusable, use the emergency combo (Shift + F12 then Shift + F11) rather than reinstalling the game.

Background display/audio troubleshooting

• If the game shows no visuals or produces no sound while running in the background, verify that:
  • You are signed into Steam.
  • Your GPU drivers are up to date.
• If problems persist after checking those items, collect a short clip demonstrating the issue and contact support at [email protected].

Quick recovery workflow
