Agora

Overview
The
Agora is a Well-Being building introduced in Timberborn's Closed Beta and renamed from Temple in Update 5. It is a
Folktails-exclusive structure that provides social and spiritual benefits to beaver populations. The building's appearance and internal flames were updated when the name changed to reflect its new consumption of a fuel resource described as "extract," which is burned inside to support its contemplative function.
The
Agora functions as a communal gathering place that contributes to beavers' morale and well‑being. It requires a steady supply of extract to operate; when fueled, the interior flames animate and the building performs its role for the settlement. As a
Folktails-only building, the
Agora may not be available in other factions or gameplay modes that lack
Folktails content.
Practical notes for placement and use:
- The
Agora is categorized under Well-Being Buildings and should be integrated into the district where you want to maximize social benefits and happiness. - Keep a reliable logistics chain for extract to ensure continuous operation; the building's effects depend on being fueled.
- Visuals changed during Update 5 to match the renamed function; older saves or mods referencing Temple may show obsolete icons or images labeled Temple (Obsolete).
