The Bakery is a production building that converts specific raw food resources into higher-value baked goods for beavers. It appears in the Folktails DLC and was introduced in the base game at launch before being moved to Folktails in a later update. The Bakery offers multiple recipes that produce different food items and occupies a role between raw-food gathering and end-consumer food consumption, letting settlements diversify diet and increase food output per input unit.

The Bakery can be set to produce one of several recipes: Bread, Maple Pastries, and Cattail Crackers. Each recipe consumes its required input resources and outputs the corresponding baked food item. The building requires workers and a steady supply of the necessary inputs to operate continuously. Placement near storage and resource-production buildings reduces hauling time and keeps production steady.
