Bandage is a basic consumable item used to stop bleeding. Its sole mechanical effect is to halt a single instance of bleeding; it does not restore any health or hit points. The item functions as a bleeding countermeasure rather than a healing item.

Practical notes and interactions:

  • Effect: stops one active bleeding instance. Once that bleeding instance is stopped, the Bandage is expended.
  • Does not heal: Bandage will not recover health, vitality, or hit points under any circumstance.
  • Role: intended to prevent ongoing damage caused by bleeding rather than to replenish lost health. Use it to remove bleed status before applying separate healing items or abilities.
  • Stacking and repeats: each Bandage addresses a single occurrence of bleeding. Multiple or recurring bleed effects require additional Bandages or alternative remedies.
  • Timing: apply a Bandage while bleeding to immediately stop that bleeding instance; it does not provide delayed or passive regeneration.
