Landing Cushion

Landing Cushion is an item that cushions landings to reduce fall impact. It mitigates some fall damage but does not eliminate every possible type or severity of fall-related injury.

The item functions as a limited fall-damage reducer. It is useful when traversing heights or when an unexpected drop is possible, but it is not a complete safeguard against all falls. Because it does not prevent all ranges of fall damage, players should treat it as one component of a fall-mitigation strategy rather than a sole solution.

• Use Landing Cushion to lower the risk from moderate falls; it reduces impact but will not negate high-severity falls.
• Do not rely on Landing Cushion alone for very high drops or hazardous fall conditions; combine it with other movement, defensive, or environmental measures when available.
• Keep in mind the item’s limitation: some fall damage types or magnitudes remain unaffected and will still harm the character.
