Pet Rock (Trinket)

Pet Rock is a trinket that boosts progression by granting +5% bonus XP to the lowest-ranked skill while equipped. Its effect is specifically meant to help bring up a skill that is lagging behind your highest-developed abilities, making it a useful choice when you want to narrow the gap between different playstyles or repair a neglected skill line.

It can be found in two locations in Cascade Laboratories. One is tucked between air ducts in a small room near where the first Electro-Pest is introduced; to reach it, face the tram platform from the room with the Pest Teleporter and look up for a catwalk with a doorway. A Jump Pad or Jetpack is required to get there. The other is on top of Cloud Reactors behind some crates, where it must be dislodged with an explosion before it can be picked up; a Mugnade is sufficient for this.

• Prior to update 0.8.2, Pet Rock existed as a deployable object that could be placed or crafted into a trinket.
• In 0.10.0, its effect was swapped with that of Kylie.
