Slushie Bomb

Slushie Bomb is a throwable item that creates a freezing burst on impact. When it lands, anything caught in its explosion radius receives the Frosted debuff and is frozen in place for five seconds. It does not deal direct damage, but it is useful for controlling enemies, creating space, and setting up follow-up attacks.

The item affects most targets by immobilizing them briefly, while players and Composers are only slowed rather than fully frozen. This makes it a strong escape tool when a fight turns bad, since it can interrupt pursuit without relying on damage. It can also be used offensively to secure extra hits on an enemy that would otherwise keep moving or attacking.

A few enemy types are fully immune to its effects: Symphonists, Mountaineers, Close-Quarters Combatants, Rooks, and the Skink. Against these enemies, the bomb provides no freeze or slow, so it should not be used as a primary control option in those encounters.

Because the Slushie Bomb has no damage component, its value comes entirely from timing and positioning. It is most effective when thrown into groups, at narrow choke points, or at enemies that need to be stopped long enough for a retreat, reload, or melee counterattack. Used well, it can turn a dangerous encounter into a manageable one by buying several seconds of safety.
