Welding Mask

The Welding Mask is a wearable item found throughout the facility and can also be obtained through trade. It is placed as loot in several regions, often in industrial or hazardous spaces, which fits its role as protective equipment.

Known spawn locations include Manufacturing West, Cascade Laboratories, and Security Sector. In Manufacturing West, it appears in the Supply Room, above The Blacksmith near an inactive lever, inside Shipping Logistics on top of a metal box near a patrolling Grunt and the stairs down to Inspection, inside Shipping above the room where Hank Kettle is, near the area in Shipping that leads to Alloy Handling where Fibre Optic Cable is required, and in the mines area near carts in a water-filled section. In Cascade Laboratories, two can be found at level 2 in the Wildlife Pens. In Security Sector, one can be found in a large upstairs room with toxic spillage and destroyed robots, and another is in Storage Unit C upstairs.

It can also be acquired by trading an Order Helmet with The Blacksmith, making that exchange a reliable alternative if you want the item without searching its spawn points.

• Because several spawn points are in industrial or contaminated areas, it is worth checking those zones thoroughly while progressing through Manufacturing West and Security Sector.
• The trade with The Blacksmith gives a deterministic way to obtain one if you have an Order Helmet available.
• The multiple spawn points mean the Welding Mask can be found incidentally while exploring, especially in upper floors, storage rooms, and maintenance-adjacent areas.
