Pearl

A Pearl is a rare underwater resource harvested from an Oyster on the ocean floor. It must be collected by diving beneath the water, and the Oyster will produce another Pearl after 10 days. The Island Reef is especially rich in Pearls, making it the best place to gather them in quantity.

Pearls have strong value as a sellable item, but they are even more profitable when turned into Pearl Paths. Crafting them into paths is an easy way to raise their total sell value and, because the resulting paths count as items, it also helps with the 50-item requirement for selling to Jimmy’s Boat. This method yields about 9,350 Dinks per Pearl, which is significantly higher than the 5,000 Dinks John pays for the raw item.
