Homestone

Overview
The Homestone is a settlement-bound teleportation object used together with Waystones. It is obtained from the Elder as part of the Swamp Guardian settlement quest or purchased from the Mage, and each Homestone is tied to the specific settlement it came from. Homestones from different settlements do not stack or interact with each other, so a player with multiple settlements must keep each network separate.
A Homestone must be placed inside its associated settlement, and it can be mined, picked up, and moved elsewhere within that same settlement. It also has to be placed on the surface. When activated, it opens a teleport selection to any
A practical setup is to keep the Homestone in the main settlement and place Waystones near major travel points such as Cave Ladders, Deep Cave Ladders, the Dungeon entrance, the Pirate Village, and the entrance to the Fallen Wizard arena. This creates a fast travel network that is especially useful when farming settlement quests for the Complete Collector Achievement.
- Waystones tied to different settlements do not connect, so avoid mixing them up.
- A Homestone can be moved within its settlement, which makes it easy to reposition the network as the settlement expands.
- Since multiple settlement networks are possible, Signs can be used to label different Waystone routes and prevent confusion.
