Dungeon Entrance

dungeon-entrance

Overview

The Dungeon Entrance is a late-game dungeon biome guarded by either a Vampire or a Void Apprentice. It is one of the dangerous subterranean areas in Necesse and serves as the entry point to the dungeon’s multi-floor layout. The area is built around powerful enemies and valuable rewards, making it a place you should only enter once your gear is strong enough to handle sustained combat.

The first floor of the dungeon can contain treasure chests scattered throughout the area. These chests may hold a Void Spear, Void Boomerang, Lightning Hammer, Mobility Cloak, or Mesmer Tablet. The monsters on this floor are described as especially powerful, so exploration is not recommended unless you are well prepared.

The second floor includes a Void Wizard. He does not attack unless you attack him first, and he does not respawn after being killed. However, he can be summoned again with a Void Caller. When a Void Caller is used, the Void Wizard becomes immediately hostile and will attack right away instead of waiting to take damage.

The dungeon also has a wide loot table beyond the floor-specific items, including materials, equipment, boss drops, consumables, vinyls, non-craftable objects, and other items. Because of that, the Dungeon Entrance is worth revisiting once you are ready to clear its enemies efficiently and search every chest.

  • The entrance is guarded by a Vampire or Void Apprentice.
  • The first floor can yield Void Spear, Void Boomerang, Lightning Hammer, Mobility Cloak, and Mesmer Tablet from treasure chests.
  • The Void Wizard on the second floor is passive until provoked.
  • The Void Wizard does not respawn naturally, but can be respawned with a Void Caller.
  • Using a Void Caller makes the Void Wizard hostile immediately.
  • Enemies in the dungeon are strong enough that early exploration is risky.
