Porter Station is a building that assigns a Ratizen to transport items between two linked Storage or Mini Storage buildings. Once staffed, it serves as a dedicated logistics job for moving goods around your settlement without direct player micromanagement.

A Ratizen assigned to a Porter Station receives a significant job bonus: movement speed +20% and carry capacity +3. This makes the position useful for long hauling routes or busy storage networks, since porters can move more items per trip and do so faster than an unassigned worker. In earlier versions, this building caused the assigned Ratizen to move from one linked storage to another.
