Overview

Transmission Wire is a building used in power-routing layouts. When planning around it, a one-tile break is not a problem for vertical movement if the gap is bridged with a Ladder or Wooden Ladder, since Duplicants can still climb up and down across that single-tile interruption.

This makes Transmission Wire convenient to run through areas where you want to preserve a climb path. A common layout is to leave a one-tile gap in the middle of the wire route and place a Ladder or Wooden Ladder there, allowing the wiring to continue around or through the opening without fully blocking access.
